Search Options: Location or Name

To find a counsellor who provides in-person services near you, follow these steps:

1. In the Search Location field, enter your city/town or postal code.
2. Under Search Within, select a distance limit to establish the maximum distance between your location and the counsellor’s in-person office.
3. If you were recommended a specific counsellor by a Care Navigator, you may also search by their name in the Search Name field.

Refining Your Search with Filters

To refine your search, you may use one, or a combination of 8 main filters and 6 additional filters:

1. Click on a filter’s dropdown menu to see options.
2. Select the criteria you’re looking for. For example, if you‘re looking for a counsellor who serves Black individuals, choose “Black Individuals” under the Communities Served filter.
3. Repeat for other fields you want to refine.

For more filters, click Additional Filters to reveal them below the main filters.

Some filters, marked with an asterisk (*), allow multiple selections, like Age Groups Served, Specializations, and Ethno-Racial Identity. Checkmarks on selected items will appear beside the items and a total count will appear at the top of the dropdown.

To clear your selections, click Clear Filters.

After selecting your desired filters, click Click Here to Search Therapists.

Your search results will appear based on your chosen filters:

1. To view a counsellor’s profile, click View Profile at the bottom of their search results card.

2. Once you are viewing the counsellor profile, you can scroll down to learn more details about them.
3. Return to your search results by clicking the “X” in the top right corner or Back to Results at the bottom of the profile.
