Christina, having obtained an Honours Bachelors of Indigenous Social Worker degree from Laurentian University, is a Registered Social Worker in excellent standing with the College of Registered Social Workers of Ontario. Through years of work and volunteer experience, Christina has worked with a diverse demographic, including young children, adolescents, and adults, specializing in substance use disorder, anxiety, depression, life transitions, trauma, grief and loss, anger, self-esteem, and relationship issues. As an Indigenous social worker, Christina has a unique perspective and understanding when working with clients. Christina utilizes many modalities to support each client’s individual needs, encompassing a holistic healing approach, Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, Crisis Interventions techniques, and Narrative Therapy.
