Life’s challenges can feel isolating - whether you’re navigating stress, relationships, or the weight of expectations. But you don’t have to carry it alone. Hi, I’m Cherie, a licensed social worker dedicated to helping individuals find clarity, resilience, and renewed confidence in their own journey. With over 10 years of experience in mental health support, I’ve walked alongside children, youth, and young adults as they confront obstacles in school, work, and family dynamics. My approach is grounded in empathy and collaboration, creating a space where you feel safe to explore your story without judgment. I believe in the power of your unique strengths - together, we’ll uncover them, develop practical tools, and foster lasting growth that aligns with your pace and goals. My practice integrates evidence-based methods like Narrative Therapy, Person-centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy to reshape unhelpful thought patterns and reframe your story. Whether you’re facing intergenerational conflicts, anxiety, or life transitions, my role is to empower you with insights and strategies that resonate with your lived experience. Originally working in schools and nonprofits in Hong Kong, I now continue my passion for mental health advocacy in Toronto, supporting clients in post-secondary settings and private practice. What remains constant is my commitment to helping people move forward with greater self-awareness and purpose. Therapy isn’t about “fixing” - it’s about understanding, growing, and reclaiming your narrative. It takes a lot of courage to seek help. I am here for you. Feel free to book a free consultation with me to kickstart the journey.
