With over 15 years of experience in mental health, immigration, disability services, domestic violence, and homelessness, Cecile is a compassionate and dedicated mental health counsellor committed to supporting individuals and families through complex life challenges. Her background encompasses clinical counselling, community-based work, and advocacy, ensuring clients feel heard, empowered, and equipped with tools for resilience and growth.
Cecile’s areas of expertise include working with children experiencing behavioural challenges, individuals navigating relocation and adjustment difficulties, workplace stress, and refugees navigating trauma, grief, and loss. In addition to supporting clients living with mental health diagnoses, chronic disabilities, and socio-economic barriers; Cecile collaborates with community organizations, healthcare providers, schools, and social service agencies to advocate for holistic, inclusive, and accessible care. She is passionate about helping individuals and families identify their goals, develop effective coping skills, and create sustainable, meaningful change while honouring each person’s lived experience and cultural background.
Outside of her professional work, Cecile enjoys spending quality time with her family, participating in and supporting community initiatives, and engaging in self-care practices that nurture balance, mindfulness, and personal well-being.
