I believe that resilience lies within each of us. We often forget this powerful strength we have inside of us because of the challenges life confronts us with. My goal is to empower you to rediscover your resilience and collaboratively work to improve your overall well-being and quality of life. I strive to create a safe, trusting, inclusive, and non-judgemental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences with me. I am passionate about helping people from a holistic, trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and person-centered framework. Focusing on the whole individual (mind, body, and soul), I take an integrative approach. Drawing from various modalities such as, Emotion Focused Therapy, Attachment, Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT),and Mindfulness-Based Interventions. I have my Level 2 certification for Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy. I am also a certified Prepare & Enrich Facilitator for pre-marital and marriage counselling. With these different approaches and trainings, I support clients as they learn to develop healthy relationships and effective coping skills that can help them live a more meaningful life. I meet clients where they are at and help them move along their healing journey. We, as humans, are all unique, therefore treatment will be tailored to the specific client. I have a Master of Arts in Counselling & Psychotherapy from Yorkville University. I am also Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the CRPO. I focus on trauma, anxiety, depression, stress/burnout, self-esteem, self-exploration/growth, and grief. Let’s embark on this healing journey together. I offer in person as well as Telehealth services (both telephone and secure video).
