Seeking therapy can be a challenging and emotional decision. My goal is to offer a safe, open, and non-judgmental space where you feel supported throughout your therapeutic journey. I practice within a collaborative framework, prioritizing a strong therapeutic relationship built on trust, mutual respect, and understanding. Committed to your mental well-being, I will work alongside you to explore your goals and support your personal growth in the areas you wish to transform. As someone with an ethnic background, I bring a culturally sensitive perspective to therapy, recognizing how cultural experiences shape individual development, mental health, and healing. I draw on a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Internal Family Systems, Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), all applied through a client-centered, strengths-based approach. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Biology from the University of Toronto, a Graduate Certificate in Addictions Treatment and Prevention from Georgian College, and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With over seven years of experience in counselling and social services, I have had the privilege of working with individuals from diverse backgrounds, addressing challenges related to mental health, addictions, and trauma using a trauma-informed lens. No matter the size or complexity of your concerns, therapy can be a powerful tool for reducing stress, gaining clarity, and overcoming life’s challenges. If you’re considering therapy, I am here to support and guide you through this process.
