
Fatima Qureshi (She/Her)
Fatima Qureshi is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying). She has earned a Master’s in Psychospiritual Studies. She also graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology. Her client-centred approach emphasizes validation, empathy, non-judgmental supportive presence, and unconditional positive regard. She holds a safe space for growth, hope, acceptance, empowerment, and healing.
Fatima has several years of experience in the hospital and community. She pursued her nursing education in 2007, garnering substantial experience through her clinical placements within hospital settings. She has also served the community through teaching for many years.
Fatima incorporates several modalities to provide a holistic approach, including Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and Narrative therapy. She has completed Level 1 and 2 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy and earned a certificate of completion for the 10 Core Competencies of Trauma, PTSD, Grief and Loss, as well as Dialectical Behavioural Training.
Fatima provides service to students, youth (16+), adults, newcomers, first responders, seniors, couples and families experiencing: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, PTSD and Spiritual/Personal development. Her modalities and approach include: Internal Family Systems Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, Trauma-Informed Therapy, Narrative Therapy, and Marital Therapy.
Her mission is to encourage innovational life-changing experiences, integrative psychotherapy, spiritual care, and counselling services. Her vision is to live with joy by acknowledging brokenness and healing by setting intentions.
