Genevieve is passionate about journeying with those going through challenging life circumstances. She is committed to the change process; real-life change takes time. Genevieve aims to remove barriers to care and provide individual sessions, community courses, and group workshops to the underserved. She also has a focus on mentoring and training newly registered therapists. When Genevieve is not speaking at a seminar, running a group, or working directly with clients, she is teaching students as an instructor. As a partnering and consulting therapist, Genevieve continues to focus on developing models for culturally relevant practice and advocating for anti-oppressive frameworks within the mental health care profession. Genevieve enjoys reading, traveling, writing, exercising and going to the theater as part of her regular self-care routine. She finds joy in nature walks, intentional showers, journaling, and DIY projects at home. We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them. – Albert Einstein A NOTE FROM GENEVIEVE: Do you want to enjoy freedom from mental health issues like depression, anxiety and/or addiction? Or experience healthy relationships and a deep sense of purpose? If you feel down, stuck, lost, confused or overwhelmed and you can't seem to "just get over it", then you probably already know something needs to change. If it is too heavy to carry the weight alone anymore and you want to begin your journey back to wholeness, then let's do this - together! I get it, this is hard stuff. Asking for help is BIG! Maybe this is new & scary for you or you think therapy is for 'crazy people'. Maybe you have tried before? Are you willing to try again? There is hope - you actually CAN have more and you actually DO deserve it! Reach out and connect with me if you want to experience real-life change - I want it for you!
