As a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and Certified Music Therapist, I provide music and verbal psychotherapy for children, youth, adults, and older adults whose concerns mayinclude self-worth, loss and grief, depression, stress, anxiety, spirituality, ableism, and transitions in life. I completed my Master in Music Therapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, and have worked in private practice, rehabilitation, hospitals, long-term care homes, and community organizations providing psychotherapy for concerns such as physical, developmental, intellectual disability, and autism/ADHD/neurodivergence, depression, multiple chronic illnesses, dementia, and mood disorders. I am always looking to learn and grow in different ways of living, and believe that music psychotherapy is an accessible medium that overcomes physical, linguistic, and social barriers when people have space and support for self-expression, creative exploration, and agency over their life stories. I am open to working with any person at any age, though my clients are usually youth, adults, or older adults, individually or in group therapy. During a session, we may integrate music psychotherapy, person-centred, resource-centred, strength-based theories through an anti-oppressive, trauma-informed perspective for a positive process facilitating growth and change that corresponds with your goals. I am a Certified Music Therapist as a member of the Canadian Association of Music Therapy, and Certification Board for Music Therapists.

Outside of sessions, I look forward to screenwriting, cooking comforting meals, creating music, and hoping that this is the year for the Toronto Maple Leafs.
