Life has its ups and downs and it can come with positive experiences as well as stressors and challenges. In the moments that feel challenging, it becomes easy to get trapped in negative self-talk cycles, bouts of low mood, high levels of anxiety or stress and an uncertainty of what do next. As a psychotherapist I aim to work with you to develop skills and resources to combat the stressors that you are experiencing in life. I acknowledge that every person is a unique and complex human being and as a result I welcome you, as you are in order to help you become the person that you want to be. As a therapist I operate from the standpoint that all clients: have the potential to challenge patterns that no longer serve them, have the potential to change, and are the expert of their experiences. Taking the first step and reaching out is daunting but is also an act of strength and self-awareness. Although it is not always an easy task, engaging in therapy is the most gratifying work that we can do is on ourselves. I look forward to connecting with you should you feel that my skills can help aid you to move towards your therapeutic goals.
