Starting therapy can bring up a mix of emotions – uncertainty, hope, anxiety, or even shame – and that’s totally okay. Whatever you’re bringing with you, know that it’s welcome here. Life can be painful and beautiful, often at the same time. In our sessions, I create space for all of it – your experiences, emotions, questions, and dreams. Together, we’ll explore what’s shaped you, what you’re carrying, and what healing might look like! I have a special interest in working with these topics: - Grief and loss in all its forms – like changes in relationships, life transitions, career shifts, sense of self, and more - Navigating emotionally immature parents - Struggles around singleness - Discovering your unique identity as a young adult - Children of immigrant parents - Twins working to build their individual identities and heal from comparison (as a twin myself, I have some personal experience in this area!) - Highly sensitive persons, boundaries and people-pleasing - If faith is part of your story, I also offer Christian-integrated therapy Therapy isn’t one-size-fits-all, so I take an integrative approach. I believe identities are shaped by family dynamics, cultural influences, and that it’s important to understand what’s within our control (and what isn’t) while exploring your life and identity as a whole. With a Master’s in Spiritual Care and Psychotherapy from Wilfrid Laurier University, I love learning how people can reconnect to themselves, and walking with them in that journey. Outside of therapy, I love drinking matcha, singing, laughing, and getting creative. To see if we’re a good fit, feel free to book a complimentary virtual meet and greet. I offer in-person and telehealth (phone and video) sessions.
