Hello, I am Neeti, and I am passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care to enhance my clients' autonomy and independence. Respect, attentive listening, and accountability enable me to identify my client's unique needs and build trusting relationships. I have been supporting older adults and their caregivers for several years. Being a first-generation Canadian exposed me to unique and diverse experiences, significantly impacting my core values and beliefs. I recognized the unique challenges experienced by members of the migrant community and felt passionate about contributing to their support and access to services. Working closely with vulnerable sectors helped me recognize my passion for supporting communities by identifying and addressing barriers. Supporting newcomers and their families helped me acknowledge my empathy, acceptance and cultural sensitivity and use them as empowerment tools. My goal is to use my knowledge and skills to provide clients with tools that can enhance their well-being and enable them to achieve desired outcomes. I use a strength-based approach to understand your unique experiences and recognize your internal strengths. Awareness of strengths can promote clarity of goals and life objectives. I employ my therapeutic knowledge and skills to collaborate with you on uniquely designed treatment plans. I create an inclusive and supportive environment to effectively serve clients from diverse backgrounds. We can work together and integrate helpful strategies into your routine to help you navigate challenges and foster emotional well-being. I use mindfulness techniques, self-compassion exercises, reframing and restructuring techniques, stress management skills, and psychoeducation to help clients cope with stressors such as caregiver burnout, self-worth concerns, social anxieties, and depression. Drawing on principles and strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Person-Centered Therapy (PCT), and Narrative Therapy allows me to offer holistic, collaborative, and unique treatment plans. Integrating these methods will enable me to tailor my approach to your situation and use the right tools and strategies to enhance your personal growth and well-being.
