Sheri Wabanosse is an Ojibwe from Wiikwemkoong Unceded Territory. Sheri has been a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario since 2017. Sheri has been providing mental health counselling, education, and therapy using both western and traditional Indigenous modalities for over 20 years. Sheri has experience working with individuals struggling with Depression, Anxiety, Substance Abuse, and Trauma related issues. Sheri has also worked with children, teens, families, and couples. Sheri is trained in Relational Life Therapy and is also experienced in Critical Incident Stress Management, as well as Harm Reduction therapies.

In addition, Sheri delivers workshops to promote Healthy Mental Health Lifestyles and is also a certified trainer in Mental Health First Aid Canada, which gives people skills to help others who may be experiencing a mental health crisis.

Sheri helps others by sharing her knowledge and skills in a kind, non-judgemental fashion. Sheri believes people have the ability to heal themselves while utilizing caring and experienced support along their journey of overall healing and well-being.
